Now that all the printing is out of the way, we can begin to talk about our program.

The Program

WideScreen Media Group delivers powerful live action digital commercials to a captive, guaranteed audience at a cost effective rate in your local community. the program is high-definition quality live action video and/or animation with 5.1 digital surround sound. It's an exciting, engrossing program guaranteed to grab the attention of potential customers!

24 minutes before the advertised showtime, our program begins, showing a looping 20 minute showcase of programming, featuring local businesses, theatre specials, and information and promotional ads.

Local Advertising

Local advertisers have the opportunity to buy several combinations of screen space to maximize their ad-buying power and advertising dollar.

FULL SCREEN - Upper 80% of the screen with sound. Banner space is used by exhibitor or WideScreen.

BANNER - Lower 20% of the screen without sound with full animation. Full screen space is used by exhibitor or WideScreen.

COMBINATION - Both full screen and banner spaces are used at the same time for the same advertiser. This is helpful if you want to have a changing message throughout the life of your main ad. Just change the banner!

WHOLE SCREEN - 100% of the screen is used. This is the most cinematic option. All national advertisers run at whole screen.

Premiere Placement

Premiere placement is a "fixed" program that starts after the loop and 4 minutes before the movie is scheduled to begin. This places ads right before the showtime for maximum exposure!

We offer national, regional and local advertisers a multitude of strategies to hit their target demographics; from placement on all screens within a single theatre complex, using multiple theatre locations, to choosing specific, rated (G, PG, PG-13, R) features on which to advertise.

Arbitron Study

Arbitron focuses on the moviegoer’s relationship with cinema advertising and evaluate its ability to influence young and affluent consumers.

Advertisers are having an increasingly difficult time forming strong bonds with teens and young adults. Increased use of on-demand media, such as online broadcasting, DVDs and video games, are drawing focus away from established media and is forcing advertisers to widen the scope of their media plans. For several years, marketers have been asking, “Where have the young people gone?” Find out in The Arbitron Cinema Advertising Study 2007.

Options for you, the advertiser

Research shows that theatergoers are an extremely receptive audience, but they do not carry a pen and paper into the auditorium. That’s why WideScreen Media Group has placed an Information Center in the theatre lobby. As Added Value, all On Screen Advertisers can place printed material-postcards, brochures, business cards, coupons or magazines at the Information Center so the moviegoer has something to take home with them. During our twenty-minute program we have created our own commercial in which the audience is urged to find out more about our advertisers by stopping by the Information Center on their way out of the theatre. With this ADDED VALUE, advertisers can hit the audience on screen and on the way out - they can take your advertisment home!

The Information center is offered absolutely free to our on-screen advertisers.
